Albertini honored with student leadership award at Bucknell

Katherine Albertini of Lunenburg (01462) has been honored with a student leadership award at Bucknell University.

Albertini, a member of the Bucknell Class of 2014, is the daughter of Wayne and Sharon Albertini and a graduate of Lunenberg High School.

Albertini received the Bison Award for Excellence in Co-Curricular Activities. The Affinity Leader for Fran's House, Albertini worked to create a safe space as well as discussions within the LGBT community. She also served as a biology teaching assistant, a peer tutor and a study group leader. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree and departmental honors in Animal Behavior.
