Austin Honigford participates in Bucknell BizPitch competition

Austin Honigford, Indianapolis IN (46256), participated in the third annual Business Pitch Competition at Bucknell University.

Austin was a member of the EZ-TAP team that won the annual Business Pitch competition for their project which integrates student IDs into smartphones. First prize was $3,000 and a one-year membership in the Bucknell University Entrepreneur Incubator.

A first-year student in the Bachelor of Science program majoring in Mechanical Engineering , Austin is the son of Kevin Honigford and Kimberly Pohlman and a graduate of Park Tudor School.

This year's BizPitch competition was held Nov. 11 at Bucknell. Student entrepreneurs were given five minutes to present their business ideas to several Bucknell alumni judges, all successful business owners. || Related story: Doubling Down
