Brekovsky presents undergraduate research at symposium

Rachel Brekovsky of Fairport (14450) presented her undergraduate research project at the fourth annual Susquehanna Valley Undergraduate Research Symposium, held Aug. 5 at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pa.

Brekovsky, who is a junior majoring in Chemical Engineering at Bucknell University, presented research on Formulation of Amorphous Dispersions Through Monodisperse Droplet Evaporation.

Brekovsky is the daughter of James and Susan Brekovsky and a graduate of Fairport High School.

Undergraduates from all disciplines were invited to present their research at a poster session. Presentations were evaluated in three categories: Clinical and Translational Research, Social Sciences and Humanities, and Natural Sciences and Engineering. The Susquehanna Valley Undergraduate Research Symposium is co-sponsored by Bloomsburg University, The Bucknell Institute for Public Policy, Geisinger Health System and Susquehanna University.
