Molly Brown honored at Bucknell University

Molly Brown, Geneva (60134) has been honored at Bucknell University.

Molly received the Julia Fonville Smithson Memorial Prize for her work, "Ten Riparian Poems." She also received the Ralph A. Still and Anne B. Still Prize.

The Smithson Prize recognizes excellence in undergraduate creative writing. The Still Prize honors a member of the junior class majoring in English with the highest standing in English.

A senior in the Bachelor of Arts program, majoring in Music and English - Literary Studies, Molly is the daughter of Alan and Kathleen Brown and a graduate of Geneva Community High School.

Honors were awarded during Family Weekend and Homecoming Weekend at Bucknell.
