Savickaite presents undergraduate research at symposium

Greta Savickaite of Stony Point (10980) presented her undergraduate research project at the fourth annual Susquehanna Valley Undergraduate Research Symposium, held Aug. 5 at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pa.

Savickaite, who is a senior majoring in Political Science at Bucknell University, presented research on Assimilation and its Effects on Mexican Migrant Health in the United States.

Savickaite is the daughter of Aleksandra Lansari and a graduate of King Low Heywood Thomas.

Undergraduates from all disciplines were invited to present their research at a poster session. Presentations were evaluated in three categories: Clinical and Translational Research, Social Sciences and Humanities, and Natural Sciences and Engineering. The Susquehanna Valley Undergraduate Research Symposium is co-sponsored by Bloomsburg University, The Bucknell Institute for Public Policy, Geisinger Health System and Susquehanna University.
